Neighbourhood Edit Celebrates Aldgate Launch with a Creative Gathering

We are thrilled to unveil the latest print volume of Neighbourhood Edit: Aldgate to Athens. To mark the occasion, our community of contributors, and friends gathered for a launch event in the beautiful residents’ lounge of our headline partners, Alma Aldgate.
The evening was a true celebration of East London’s creative pulse. A panel discussion led by Neighbourhood Edit editor Amira Hashish took centre stage, featuring the dynamic voices of artist and printmaker Sam Hodge, chef and writer Anna Barnett and abstract artist Lisa Marie Price (pictured below left to right).
Together, they explored the best of Aldgate, Spitalfields, and Brick Lane, offering insight into how East London continues to inspire their craft.
Our cover stars, acclaimed artists Philip Colbert and Charlotte Colbert, were amongst the guests who toasted the edition against the backdrop of the City’s skyline.
Highlights of the magazine include pieces by designer Henry Holland, Top Cuvée founder Brodie Meah, Colours of Arley’s Louisa Tratalos and Dominic Hamdy, the restaurateur behind Crispin London and Bistro Freddie.
Siobhan Ferguson of Pretty City London takes us on a tour of the neighbourhood with her stunning photo journal. Baking guru Lily Vanilli has also contributed a delicious recipe. So what better way to mark the occasion than with a Lily Vanilli Neighbourhood Edit cake?
